Thu Aug 26 18:46:22 EDT 2010 Something bad happened -- I have a good news and a bad news. The good news is that my web site is now hosted, as you may have noticed, on a web space on my devio.us account, a virtual server with OpenBSD, so no more prob- lems of sudden down times (so frequent when the web server and the IRC server were on my old Pentium 3 recycled as server), bet- ter performances and more reliability. The bad news is that this choice was caused by the fact that the hard disk in my dear old server got completely fried. I could restore the pages here be- cause I had a backup on my laptop, but unluckly it wasn't the same for the SQL dumps. They were quite large and they were on another partition on the same disk, as I had no space for placing them somewhere else. I was just hoping the whole disk would have never fried up, but yea, this happened, and bye bye SQL dumps. So unfortunately they may be lost, even if I'm doing the possible for recovering them. This means, at least for now, some services are not accessible. Among those, HacKnowledge, the forum, and the hack game. I'll try to restore them as soon as possible, if pos- sible. -- The lulz was here
