Graduate student, got my bachelor degree in computer engineering in 2008 with
a thesis about the development of a distributed system to recognize and
classificate unknown entities (people, companies, products etc.) inside large
groups of unstructured documents (books, newspapers, articles...), classifying
them on the basis of the context they're used. The software was mostly developed
in C++ and Perl for its components (client, dispatcher, server), and it's now
part of Okkam project, a project supported by the European Union for the creation
of a large semantic database containing any kind of knowledge available on the
net.

In past I worked for Intel Education Italy as a member of their development team,
and as developer for Expert System S.p.a., a company active in semantic
technologies. I also worked as IT consultant for my university, for which I
designed their thesis database, online browsable, and led the migration of many
public computers to GNU/Linux, developing and testing on some of them some software
for speech recognition and face detection.

In computer security area, I wrote an article on hakin9 Italy in past on techniques
for shellcoding under Linux, developed many tools for computer security purposes
(shellcode generator, tools for ARP poisoning a local network or log this kind of
attacks, IRC bots, several tools for shellcode injection, in executable files or in
memory resident code), several libraries (for managing neural networks, CGI
applications in C, parsing math expressions and equations in C++) and applications
related to image manipulation (border highlighting through Sobel's maps and other
filters for images). I also wrote many tutorials, related to computer security,
general programming, electronics, communications, math and artificial intelligence,
and founded HacKnowledge project (a project available on this site that aims to become
a complete reference in computer science, computer security, computer forensics,
electronics, communications and math).

I currently live and study in Denmark, and the focus of my interests is now
mainly on artificial intelligence and computer vision topics.
